Herbal BBQ Sauce with local Honey
Herbal Barbeque Sauce to use with meats
Servings: 4 cups
Equipment
- 1 heavy saucepan medium
- 1 whisk or stirrer
- 1 knife
- 1 cutting board
- 1 set measuring cups
- 1 set measuring spooms
- 1 lidded glass jar for storing
Ingredients
- 1` clove garlic minced
- 1 small onion minced
- 3/4 mustard (dijon or regular) your choice for flavor
- 1 tbsp freshly grated horseradish
- 1/4 tsp marjoram
- 1/4 tsp thyme
- 1/2 tsp savory
- 1/2 tbsp parsley
- 1 tsp crushed red pepper
- 2 tbsp tarragon vinegar
- 3 cup water
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2/3 cup butter
- 1/2 cup catsup
- 2 tbsp honey local honey
- 3/4 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp fresh black pepper
- 3/4 tsp sale
Instructions
- mix all ingredients into heavy sauce pan and simmer slowly for 40 min to 1 hour - to consistency you want. Store in refrigerator up to two weeks
