We need a logo!

Submit your original logo ideas to be part of the Eastern Apiculture Society Annual Conference taking place in Maryland next year (August 2024). The logo will be used for communications on the conference including social media, merchandise and fliers. 

We want to highlight your creative skills! If your logo is selected, you will be credited during the conference. 

Please keep in mind that the focus of the logo should be honey bees and the state of Maryland. Our theme for 2024 is “Think Like a Bee”. 

Also remember that the logo will often be printed in small formatting, so keep it simple! 

About logo contest submissions: 

● All submissions become property of EAS for the EAS 2024 conference, to be used as we deem appropriate. 

● We reserve the right to combine two or more design concepts to create a final logo design and will credit all submitters for their design contributions. 

● We reserve the right to not select any specific design, but to use any submission(s) as the basis of a final logo design, while acknowledging the creators of the submissions the logo was based on. 

Anyone interested in contributing logos can email designs to John Mahaffie at jbmahaffie@gmail.com. Please send digital files; computer renderings or scans of your art, that are at least 300 dpi. If you have an idea for the logo, that’s fine as well, and you can submit your ideas in words in an email. 

Multiple entries are welcomed. 

The deadline for submissions is April 15, 2023.
