Granola Bars with Honey
Granola Bars with honey, great snack
Equipment
- 1 cookie sheet with sides
- 1 mixing bowl
- 1 spatula
- 1 set measuring cups
- 1 set measuring spoons
- 1 small knife
Ingredients
- 2 cups uncooked rolled oats
- 1 cup raisins (any kind golden, regular) other options can be dried cherries, blueberries
- 1 cup nuts (mixed, peanut)
- 1 cup sunflower seeds
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tbsp butter melted
- 1 cup honey
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 200 degrees F
- Mix all ingredients together
- Place on greased cookie sheet and compress to 3/4" thickness, squaring sides
- Bake 200 degrees F for 1 hour
- Cool out of oven for 1/2 hour
- Cut with sharp knife and cool completely until firm
- Optional, after cutting, spread with mini chocolate chips, let melt from heat and spread to thin layer
