Granola Bars with Honey

Granola Bars with honey, great snack

Equipment

  • 1 cookie sheet with sides
  • 1 mixing bowl
  • 1 spatula
  • 1 set measuring cups
  • 1 set measuring spoons
  • 1 small knife

Ingredients

  • 2 cups uncooked rolled oats
  • 1 cup raisins (any kind golden, regular) other options can be dried cherries, blueberries
  • 1 cup nuts (mixed, peanut)
  • 1 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp butter melted
  • 1 cup honey

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 200 degrees F
  • Mix all ingredients together
  • Place on greased cookie sheet and compress to 3/4" thickness, squaring sides
  • Bake 200 degrees F for 1 hour
  • Cool out of oven for 1/2 hour
  • Cut with sharp knife and cool completely until firm
  • Optional, after cutting, spread with mini chocolate chips, let melt from heat and spread to thin layer
