Moisturizing Lip Balm (NAHBE 2025)

Equipment

  • 1 double boiler with water
  • 1 glass pint jar
  • 1 kitchen scale
  • 1 wooden stick for stirring
  • 24 lip balm tubes with lid or tins

Ingredients

  • 45 gr coconut oil
  • 20 gr shea butter
  • 20 gr beeswax
  • 2 gr vitamin e oil
  • 5 gr lanolin
  • 12 drops butter flavored essential oil

Instructions

  • Place glass jar on kitchen scale and weight out ingredients, taring scale to zero after each use
  • Melt Coconut oil and beeswax in glass jar in double boiler
  • Remove from heat and stir in shea butter
  • Add vitamin E and lanolin and stir
  • Add essential oil, stir and fill tubes/tin
