pecans or walnuts

Instructions
Cream the shortening and honey well
Add the beaten egg and orange rind
Sift the dry ingredients and add to the bowl alternately with the orange juice
Add the chopped nuts
Pour into greased loaf pan, the bottom of which has been lined with parchment paper
Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour or until the loaf is nicely browned and begins to shrink from the sides of the pan
